If you’ve ever dreamed of traveling the world without checking your bank balance every five minutes, this one’s for you.
Last week, I returned from an incredible trip to South Africa, Johannesburg and Cape Town to be exact.
Standing on top of Table Mountain and walking through the streets of Soweto reminded me how big and beautiful the world really is.
But here’s the part most people don’t see: the freedom behind it all. Because that trip, which could’ve easily cost me close to $10,000 in flights, hotels, food and entertainment… was almost completely free.
Years ago, I decided to treat my credit cards like tools, not traps. Instead of chasing points randomly, I built a system around my spending, using travel cards that reward how I already live and spend. Those same points covered my flights and hotel stays for this trip.
No debt. No stress. Just the reward of intentional planning.
Moral of the story: freedom isn’t luck, it’s the result of a plan you actually follow.
When you manage your money with intention, you don’t have to ask permission to experience the world.
This also applies to investing. The same way I earned points from smart spending, you can earn freedom from smart investing. Whether it’s travel, early retirement, or simply peace of mind, your goals won’t fund themselves.
They need a plan. And that’s what I help people create every day through my 1:1 coaching.
